This year , El Chivo Azul Blues and Jazz Band plays every Friday night at Lolha. Their music ranges from romantic and sultry, to kicked up jazz and blues!

Our guests have thoroughly enjoyed their music, and by the end of the night, many get up to dance by their tables, or on the small dance area we leave especially for those that like to kick up their heels!

Dinner reservations are taken for 6:30 , 7:00, or 7:30pm. The music starts are 7:30.

The band consists of a singer, guitar, bass guitar and drums. Singing is incredible! You start to really feel the music when she starts to sing, or when she plays her sax. There are two on guitar, one keyboard and the drummer, and what a combination they make!

If you are in town over a Friday, don’t miss it! Dinner will become an entire experience when it is combined with good music.

Don’t expect to converse much while the band plays though. You will want to sit back, enjoy your food, and tune in to jazz and blues in Akumal or request a table on our veranda, still hear the music, and enjoy your dinner companions in lively conversation surrounded by the fresh tropical breezes and the great view of the bay.
