Bungalows

When staying at the bungalows, the feeling is one of comfort and charm. These were the first accommodations available in Akumal, and have since been remodeled and upgraded, of course, but the charm of the bungalow style hotel room is still there, and few hotels today build their rooms with such spaciousness and as separate units. Instead, they build up, and squeeze as many units as possible in as little land.

Our bungalows are situated among the lush gardens of our property, with only 8 bungalows to a quadrangle, or in the adjacent section, the rooms are four to a section. They are just steps away from the beach, and although they do not have a view of the ocean, they make up for it in charm and privacy, and convenience. You just walk a few minutes and you are in the center of the property where the food service areas are. Many people prefer staying in the bungalows instead of the ocean front rooms! The choice is there though, and we have what you are looking for.

Surrounded by lush gardens for those that do not like the feel of a high rise hotel, this is the ideal room for you. Each bungalow has either one king size bed or two double beds, air conditioning, ceiling fan, mini refrigerator, and best of all, no one below you or on top of your room to disrupt your privacy. The rooms are spacious, and can be rented as single, double, or triple occupancy rooms.

Lolha Snack bar now has wireless internet access at no charge for customers. All bungalows and Ocean front rooms have high speed internet connection and telephones. Please inquire on check in for rates.
